I know I am a creature of habit. My neighborhood walks always start going UP the hill and I always drive south into the valley. Nine years and I’ve never driven north on all the back roads within two miles of my home. A setting sun encouraged me to travel north as I tried to catch its last rays.
In doing so I happened upon a vacant house with Americana character
A peaceful way to end a work day.
