Under a New Fallen Snow

There is a peace that permeates one’s being while walking through a garden after a new fallen snow.

But along  with that peace comes a feeling of sadness as the realization of knowing another season comes to an end.

Beyond the Veil of Night – part two

Stepping outside into the blackness I knew I was not alone

I could hear the clicks, buzzing and underlying drone of creatures all around me

I felt the wisps of silken threads brush my body

Only the flash of light from my camera brought them into view

Beyond the Veil of Darkness

No moonlight illuminated the paths this night

The blackness appeared more intense like that of rich velvet

Yet I knew something waited just beyond

Vinca bud

Their scent was heightened by the their lack of visual beauty

I knew what I would find, but I did not know just as the blackness appeared more intense this night, so to were their colors
