Beyond the Veil of Night

It flew past me

Sweetheart Underwing moth

I sensed it was large

Larger than the moths I’ve seen congregating around the flame

Upon illuminating the area that was once shielded by the veil of night

Creatures protected by the darkness were now naked and vulnerable

  2. They are all quite beautiful when seen through your lens. Awesome captures Bonnie! The first one almost looks like soft feathers of a beautiful bird instead of the wings of an insect. Amazing.
