Mystical Morning

As I opened the door to walk outside the hot humid air enveloped me like warm bath water envelops the body.

Last night’s rain still clung to all it had touched and droplets of moisture filled the air.

The scent was musty and sweet.

I made my way down to the lower garden to meditate and walk the labyrinth.

When I turned and stepped into the last circuit something caught my eye.

A color I am more accustom to see in the spring.

    • Our weather has had more of a subtropical feel to it. Even though our days are hot, we get rain almost every afternoon. I have been dealing with a lot of plants dying due to mold and fungus. All my self-seeded impatiens, literally hundreds, have all died.
