Alternate Views Of a Rainy Day

Winter in Northeastern Pennsylvania has become a series of rainy days followed by moderating temperatures.   Today was no exception. I awoke to ice on the sidewalks and came home to pockets of fog.

In between an intermittent rain fell from the sky coating everything it touched. I tried to capture images of water-coated surfaces. Inadvertently  I discovered an alternative view.

I found this alternative view not only in the world created by humankind but also in the natural world.

If only it was in crystal clear clarity

An image not of a black pearl but of a single raindrop

Thank you for dropping by.  If you’re so inclined, please let me know what you think!  Enjoy your day

  1. Hi Bonnie,
I always enjoy your appetite for getting the best shots of nature… any weather or time of year! Great Job!
I have to see you sometime about the incredible vegetation that comes up in the woods below your place in the Spring!

  2. I have to agree with some of the other comments, the last photograph of the single drop is beautiful. It looks liked a gold faceted jewel or crystal.
