Iridescent Cloud
After a walk in sub-freezing temperatures, Maddie and I took a moment to relax. Upon looking skyward, I saw an iridescent pink cloud on an otherwise canvas of blue.
I understand why people believe in signs!
This iridescent cloud was observed on January 26, in the western sky at approximately 3:10 PM.

Wow, pretty interesting.. lovely catch
That’s amazing! And so lucky you had your camera with you!
Fantastic. It must feel great to have been in the right place at the right time.
Absolutely! I actually had been sitting in the sunshine trying to warm up and had closed my eyes for a moment. When I opened them I saw this. At first I thought I must be seeing things and needed to adjust my thinking!
Well how cool is that. Beautiful but just a little spooky too.
That was my first thought. It initially made me a bit disoriented. Wasn’t sure what I was looking at.
I think it is space worm hole that allows for much quicker travel from place to place. Keep your eyes open for mysterious beings. And not me.
I can wrap my mind around that!
What a joy that must have been to observe. Love the way you cradled it against that lowest branch in the first photo.
Thank you for noticing! It was what I was trying to recreate!
Amazing and beautiful.
Wow! That is amazing, and captured very well!
Fabulous catch, Bonnie! In all my years of watching the sky, I’ve never had the privilage of seeing this in person!
That is SO beautiful and interesting. So lucky for you to have seen it – very magical.
WOW! Definitely looks like a sign and omen to me. It is so beautiful, it HAS to be a good omen!
Way cool.
